What are you going to do:
You will be working as a host at one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in Amsterdam. The hotel is located in the middle of the center. They exude a modern approach to luxury through fresh, refined rooms and imaginative spaces inspired by Dutch design. You will be working in a close team where hospitality and enthusiasm are keywords.
The position
As a front office host you are the face of the hotel. That includes checking in and out of guests, taking care of reservations and wishes of the guests and managing and handling telephone and email traffic. At the request of guests, you will provide specific tourist, recreational and gastronomic information in the region. You will also inform guests about hotel, chain, and city specific characteristics.

What we offer:
- Salary starting from €2028,- per month based on a 38-hour contract;
- Starting with a fixed-term contract for one year;
- 50% discount in restaurants & bars at 10 partner hotels in the city;
- IHG Employee rate in over 5500 hotels;
- Employee discount at Health Club Jordaan & De Nieuwe Yogaschool.
What we ask:
- Minimum mbo level or equivalent ability
- You are willing and able to work the different shifts (mornings, evenings, nights, weekend/weekdays and holidays);
- You have at least 6 months experience in a comparable environment;
- You have strong English communication skills and basic Dutch communication skills.
