Temporary English and IT/DE/ES customer service employee wanted at music store in Amsterdam

Are you interested in everything about music? Are you fulltime available for 2/3 months and do you speak English AND Italian/Spanish/German on a business level? Do you like to help customers with all their music related questions? Read on!

What are you going to do:

Our client is one of the largest online music stores of the Benelux and their goal is to become the largest of whole Europe. The company is specialised in sound, light, music instruments, producer and DJ equipment and their website is visited by millions of users every year. What makes them unique is their passion for music and the drive to help their customers in practicing their own passion.

In short: service, support, the whole experience and most of all a lot of music.

But the more customers visiting their music store, the more music related questions our client receives. This means that their customer service is really busy. So busy, that the unanswered English, Italian, Spanish and German emails are piling up. And that's where you come in!

Because right now they're looking for enthusiastic, music minded and near-native English customer support candidates, that can read and write Italian, Spanish OR German as well. You will be in charge of answering all emails with general questions and complaints. While replying emails about online orders in English, you will also provide people information about payments or returns in Italian, Spanish OR German. The goal: destroy that pile of unanswered emails and make the customers feel as good as possible!  

Working hours:

A temporary fulltime job for 2-3 months. You can work very flexible shifts: the customer service is open on Monday till Sunday, from 09.00 AM till 11.00 PM. You only have to make sure that you work 40 hours a week!

What we offer:

  • A fulltime job for about 2 months;
  • Informal and dynamic workplace;
  • Salary indication is between € 1700 and € 1900 p/m in case of fulltime job;
  • Extensive training of 4-6 weeks;

What we ask:

  • Intermediate vocational education (MBO);
  • Experience in working with customers (by email);
    • You speak near-native English AND Italian/Spanish/German on a business level
    • You are verbally strong and a team player;
    • You are stress resistant and type really fast;
    • You are service oriented and love music;
    • You are flexible in working days and hours;
