Wat ga je doen?
As a Technical Support Engineer you will
be the first point of contact in case of technical issues / requests on
machines in the medical device industry in Europe. Your role is to troubleshoot
to the root cause and either resolve the issues / questions direct remotely or
assign an engineer to go onsite with the appropriate parts. You will have to
liaise with Biomed in the hospitals, sales, and service team representatives.
Responsibilities include:
· -Provides
Technical Support within the Europe region to internal and external customers.
Provides second line Technical Support outside the Europe region to
distributors;
-Interacts
with customers via telephone and e-mail, to solve problems related to internal
customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems;
-Diagnoses,
identifies, and isolates customer problems using historical database records to
evaluate and prioritize issues;
-Escalates
unresolved calls to appropriate support specialist or service group and alerts
management to recurring problems and patterns of problems;
-Participates
in on-going training, procedural review/development, reporting, and compliance
activities.

•Education
level: MBO+ / HBO level with experience in similar function
•Good knowledge
of the English Language in combination with with at least one of the following languages: French, German, Italian or Spanish;
•Flexible and representative
attitude;
•Getting the Job done Attitude;
•Technical
background is a plus; affinity is a must;
•Good social and
communication skills
•Creative
thinking and innovation
•Ability to quickly learn technical, capital equipment related details;
•Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, ability to work effective under pressure;
•High level of
responsibility;
