Are you passionate about treasury and financial risk management? Do you have a strong understanding of capital structures, foreign exchange trading and Treasury Systems? If so, Nutreco has the perfect role as Treasury Manager for you.
As a Treasury Manager, you will focus on high-value projects and intercompany financing. You will manage banking relationships and work closely with internal departments in various business units and plants, such as Tax, Corporate Controlling and Accounting. This includes educating the financial community on Treasury's financial risk management, including liquidity, capital position, foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk and financial counterparty risk.
Together with the Group Treasurer, you will review, assess, and update Treasury policies. You will also advise on the optimization of financial structures in Treasury related processes. You will therefore play a key role in our current bank connectivity project.
You will report to the Group Treasury Director.
What are your objectives?
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders across various business units to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide valuable insights into treasury processes.
• Operational Understanding: Within the first year, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Nutreco's treasury operations, including treasury systems like IT2 and FXALL, intercompany financing, banking relationships, and risk management strategies.
• Project Banking Connectivity Contribution: Make a substantial contribution to the Project Banking Connectivity initiative by actively participating in its planning, implementation, and optimization phases. Ensure seamless transition from scattered e-banking solutions to a unified portal connecting all company accounts.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes, optimize liquidity structures, and enhance reporting mechanisms to improve operational efficiency and decision-making within the treasury function.
• Leadership Potential: Exhibit leadership qualities and potential for growth by taking ownership of key initiatives, mentoring team members, and actively contributing to strategic discussions within the treasury department.

What you bring:
• 5 + years of relevant (international) work experience in treasury, finance, controlling, or in the banking sector or in a financial institution;
• Preferably a Master's degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent (Registered Treasury Post-Doc is a plus);
• Excellent financial and analytical skills, and experience with option structures, foreign exchange trading and loan agreements;
• Strong affinity for technical tools;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in other relevant languages is a plus;
• You will be able to commute to our office in Amersfoort 2 - 3 times per week.
