What are you going to do?
As a Global Maintenance Excellence Manager, you will be working with the Global Maintenance Excellence Leader to support the group wide engineering community through deployment of the Maintenance Excellence framework, including focused improvements in people competency and operational maturity. Your specific focus will be on improving maintenance management processes, cost management, Health, Safety compliance and achieving CO2 reduction targets.
This role is critical to driving excellence in maintenance, to ensure we have clear improvement action plans for maturity and to support the competency development through leading training workshops.
You will also be working closely with IT. You will be in the lead role in deployment of CMMS systems, as we embrace technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance approach.
Your responsibilities
• Aligned leadership: Developing and Deploying Maintenance Excellence Systems, tools and processes.
• Supporting the sustainability and energy reduction agenda within approach and across the maintenance community.
• Performance Routines & KPI's: Ensuring we have a defined set of measures across the business to support maintenance strategy, being reviewed at correct frequency by correct people at desired quality.
• Aligned maintenance improvement tools: Ensuring teams are equipped with relevant improvement tools / processes to achieve strategic goals.
• Ensuring that the Blueprints are in place for key maintenance management processes & ways of working.
• Highlighting improvement areas: Performing maturity assessments and ensuring all BUs have annual maturity improvement plans in place.
• Supporting Systems & Technology: Leading & managing the development & application of Maintenance systems across the Business Units, ensuring a common functionality & develop capability of users to enable best practice performance.

What we ask
To succeed in this role, you need to be enthusiastic, pro-active and have significant knowledge of maintenance strategy, maintenance processes, project management and change management. You are strong in planning and coordinating work cross functionally on regional level in collaboration with regional, Global/central team. You understand cultural differences, have strong communication skills and are easily able to switch between different knowledge levels & perspectives. You are eager to learn and happy to share your knowledge with others.
What you bring.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering. Master's degree preferred.
• >10 years of experience in engineering management is preferred with time spent leading engineering improvement across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated successful leadership of maintenance transformation programs across multiple sites in multiple countries.
• Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma...) is also preferred.
• Trainer experience is essential.
• Ability to work in both strategic and operational levels.
• Good level of English in writing and speaking - Spanish would also be good but not essential.
• Willing to travel 50% of the time.
