Fulltime customer care agent Dutch AND English at KLM (B2C) in Amsterdam

As a Customer Service Agent at Customer Care, you handle complaints, claims and compliments of passengers regarding their journeys who call to Cygnific. You will be in touch with passengers that have contacted Cygnific both via phone and written communication. By being empathic and friendly, you make customers feel welcome and heard, ensuring an ongoing relationship with them. At the same time you are also decisive and commercial. What are you going to do:

You will be working as a Business to Customer customer care agent at Cygnific, the subsidiary of KLM. As customer care agent you will be the first person of contact for customers of Air France/KLM. As a customer care agent you answer travel related complaints/questions from customers by phone and mail. 

What tasks will you perform during your workday?

You will be handling files
You handle complaint, claim and compliment files of Air France - KLM passengers, loyalty program members and/or travel agents from the Dutch market within agreed procedures and timelines.

You will be handling phone calls
You answer incoming phone calls from passengers and travel agents regarding the files handled at the department. You also handle outgoing calls in a professional and efficient manner in line with departmental guidelines.

You will detect trends
You give feedback and advice to the Team Lead regarding trends in passenger, travel agent and loyalty program member reactions and possible solutions in order to improve KLM’s products and/or the Air France – KLM customer care processes.

Training
Before you start as full-time customer service agent, you will follow an extensive training and coaching program. In no time you’ll be brought up to speed with KLM’s systems and your new responsibilities. The training will take place over athree month period, from Monday to Friday during the standard office hours. The first 6 weeks in class (9:00-17:30), the other weeks you will have a training on the job. The upcoming  customer care training starts the 10th of September for a period of three months. 

Work hours
As full-time customer service agent, you’ll work 40 hours per week. The office is open from Monday toFriday. Your work hours will be between 8:00 and 18:00.

What we ask:

  • At least finished mbo level 4
  • You have excellent Dutch AND English language skills;
  • You are empathic, service minded and willing to go the extra mile to exceed the expectations of the customer;
  • Have experience or affinity with working in a call center and/or in a travel or airline related industry;
  • You are searching for a long term job;
  • You are are fulltime available from monday to friday between 8:00 and 18:00;
  • You are available from the 10th of September and you did not plan any holidays within the first 3 months!
