To drive their clients’ further growth, support their global customer base, and ensure their durable, long-term exposure in the market, we are looking for a talented business development manager within the Cranes market (mainly in Germany). Combining technical knowledge with sales skills, you will provide advice and support on a range of products.

The company is based in central Friesland, the Netherlands. It’s a high-tech, fast-moving and innovative company, with a flat organizational structure and an informal atmosphere. The core business of the company is manufacturing products for use across many different industries, such as oil & gas, mining, crane manufacturing, heavy lifting and structural engineering.

what are you going to do?

• Connect and support clients in the cranes market through technical sales advice and insight, to foster long-term relationships;
• Search for new customers who might benefit from the products and services in the designated markets;
• Ensure the expansion of the customer portfolio and greater visibility. To achieve these goals, you will occasionally be traveling internationally;
• Understanding technical product specifications and keeping up to date with new company products as well as industry trends;
• Working closely with the engineering, project and production departments, and reporting to the CEO.

About you.

• Experience in a commercial position, such as: (International) Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or Account Manager;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
• An enthusiastic, driven and social person with vison and drive to achieve goals;
• Fluent in German and English (hard job requirement).
