Job description

As a bicycle courier at Thuisbezorgd in Zaandam, you will deliver meals. Your shift starts at home, where you receive the first order via the app. Then you get on your own well-functioning bike and go to the first restaurant to pick up the order. You then take this order to the customer with a big smile. With a bit of luck, you'll receive a tip and then move on to the next order. 

Who are you?

You are sporty, customer-friendly and above all motivated! You are the business card of Thuisbezorgd and love to ride your bike all over Zaandam. As an enthusiastic bicycle courier in Zaandam, it is important that you are available at least two days a week, including one day in the weekend. If you would like to work more, that is of course also possible. 

You will receive a kilometre allowance per kilometre you cycle. For example, if you cycle five kilometres in an hour on a normal bicycle, you will earn 50 cents more per hour! 

What will you earn?

Your gross wage is €11.51- per hour (from 21 years and older). You don't have to share any tips you get. If you wish the customer a nice meal every time with your best smile and you get a tip for it, it goes straight into your own pocket. On top of that, you also get a very nice kilometre allowance which I explain to you below.

Bonus? Definitely!

In Zaamdam, we work with several bonus schemes at Thuisbezorgd.

The more hours you work per week, the more bonus you receive! If you work between 16 and 24 hours a week, you will receive a €1 bonus per hour. If you work between 24 and 39 hours a week, you will receive €1.25 per hour. If you work 40 hours a week, you will receive a €2.- bonus per hour!
