What kind of company is Movus
Movus recently moved to a brand-new building in Alblasserdam. Movus was founded to provide different hubs from a flash deliverer with the services they need. From the Movus warehouse in Alblasserdam there will be daily transport deliveries to different hubs in major cities.

What are your tasks?
As a full-time warehouse employee at Movus in Alblasserdam, you are responsible for collecting the right products that must then be prepared for transport to the different hubs. Movus in Alblasserdam is a new starting warehouse, in which you will play an important role. Your tasks will mainly consist of:

  • Order picking in the multi-temperature warehouse including fresh meat, vegetables and fruit. Chilled and frozen
  • Stack the collected stock safely and securely on pallets for transport to the hubs
  • Carry out the necessary checks on pallets at the time of receipt from the supplier
  • Taking responsibility and working independently
  • Adhere to Company procedures and policies
  • Follow the Clean As You Go principles to maintain a safe work environment for everyone
  • Reporting accidents and near misses
  • Following trainings

For this position it is important that you are used to physically demanding work, are a real go-getter and do not like sitting still. If you are in possession of a Forklift or Reach truck certificate, this is a plus, but not mandatory!

Monday to Saturday from 07:00-15:30

What we offer:

  • €12,36 gross per hour from 21 years and older
  • Surcharges in accordance with the CAO for Professional Goods Transport
  • Travel allowance from 10 km
  • Work shoes will be provided by YoungCapital

What we ask:

  • Minimum mbo level or equivalent ability
  • Forklift or Reach truck certificate in possession but not essential
  • Masters the English language verbally and in writing
  • In possession of your own transport because of early shifts
