Job description
As a fulltime accounting specialist at Movus in Alblasserdam you are responsible for all matters regarding the bookkeeping, accountancy and the financial administration of the company. You have an extensive range of tasks. Among other things, you will ensure that financial bookings are made correctly and on time, you will create invoices, and you will ensure that all costs are charged the right way. Besides that, you will also manage all financial matters in the Movus accounting systems. You will report directly to the Cluster/Country Financial Controller.
Who is Movus?
Movus Logistics is a new start-up company in the logistics sector, based in Alblasserdam. From Movus Logistics' warehouse, all products are transported and supplied to Getir's hubs. From there, orderpickers will take over in the warehouse. The riders will ensure that the orders are delivered to the client in no time.
Who are you?
You have an eye for detail! As an accounting specialist, nothing escapes your attention. You are good with numbers, and you know how to translate this into various departments within Movus. In addition, you have a pragmatic attitude and see it as a challenge to work in a start-up. Movus is a fast-growing and international organization. You must therefore be able to switch quickly; every working day is different! In addition to your knowledge and experience in financial services, you also master your languages. You can work just as easily in English as in Dutch.
What we offer:
- A gross monthly salary between €3000,- and €5000,- depending on the knowledge and experience you bring to the table;
- You’ll be contracted directly at Movus;

What we ask:
- Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability
- A command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
- Experience with accounting, business administration, economics, finance or equivalent;
- Experience with MS Excel, ERP-Finance Modules (e.g. SAP, Oracle);
- You are problem solver and have a good understanding of business processes;
