Fulltime warehouse operator in Zaandam

What are you going to do:

The company you will work for is...
A company that buys and sells parts to customers in the automotive, medical and telecommunications industries, among others. The international and close team is based in the UK and now also in Zaandam. Despite the distance you will have a lot to do with each other and there are also regular company outings with the whole company. Hard work and successes are celebrated and rewarded together, the colleagues like to help each other to achieve successes.

What will you be doing?
As a warehouse operator you will spend most of your time checking in goods, taking care of the storage of goods and packing up of goods for dispatch. 

For a small part of your time you will make sure the warehouse is decent by tidying stores areas and filing.
You will ensure, along with Accounts, that supplies of important items do not run out. Lastly you will be busy with constant awareness of Health and Safety issues and taking corrective action where appropriate.

A team player who shows commitment, is driven and enthusiastic for all aspects of the job. You bring a positive attitude to work and you have the ability to work under pressure. Your personality is cheerful and you have excellent organizational skills. It is vital that you can demonstrate accuracy, with good attention to detail and that you have computer knowledge.

What we ask:

  • Minimum mbo level 4 or equivalent ability
  • Ability to speak and read English;
  • Some experience of working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining good attention to detail, with repetitive tasks;
  • Previous experience of a similar role (desirable, but not essential).
