As a Business Unit IT Lead in out team you will be globally accountable for planning and aligning IT capability and solutions with Contract Logistics strategic and tactical business direction. In this role you will report directly to the IT Director BeNeGe.

What you do on a typical day

• Act as IT Business Partner for respective Business entities - keep oversight of IT matters for respective entities
• Lead IT business development activities, including the delivery of RFQ/tender response and related solution proposition including cost estimates in relation to business case
• Work with business on creation and conceptualization of new ideas, projects, plans and initiatives. Translate these into required IT solutions
• Manage IT representation in front of customers and business
• Monitor emerging and market trends; inject innovation into business areas
• Build optimal working relationship with customers and business entities
• Drive organizational change in line with strategy. Co-drive IT Management Team agenda and Business IT Lead agenda
• Contribute to IT product management

What you need to succeed at GXO  

• Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, business or a comparable
• discipline
• Good knowledge of WMS systems at conceptual functional level
• Minimum of 7 years' management experience in a complex, high demanding and fast-paced international environment, preferably in Supply Chain industry
• Excellent knowledge in  English language, oral and written. German and Dutch language skills preferred.
