What does YOUR solve?

A small introduction into the landscape of YOUR; brands like Apple and Samsung face challenges in managing online product content and ensuring accuracy. YOUR empowers these brands by granting them complete control, ownership, and transparency. By providing e-commerce shops with the capability to access streamed user-generated and personalized product content, we not only elevate the shopping experience and reduce cost but also substantially boost conversion rates. As our lead back-end developer, you'll be at the forefront of this transformative technology, driving change in the e-commerce landscape.

Your challenge:

At YOUR, our backend infrastructure is the cornerstone of our content streaming technology, playing a pivotal role in delivering customer satisfaction. As the Lead Back-end Developer, you will take charge of crafting, building, and rigorously testing the database architecture and software solutions that form the foundation of our content services. Our solution is hosted on Hetzner, Google Cloud & AWS, with the heart of our backend codebase written in C# on a Mysql relational database. The integration with the frontend is achieved through the utilization of JS React and Typescript. In this role, you will build and lead a talented team of developers and shape the future of our backend technology stack.

We've reached significant milestones by developing a Software Development Kit (SDK) and creating an ecosystem of operational applications such as Shopify. Paying customers are using our Shopify and SDK applications, thus actively leveraging our platform to stream product content.

We will be looking at your CV for the following qualifications:

• Completed HBO/WO education, preferably in a technical field.
• 5+ years experience in C#.
• Understanding in setting up and maintaining databases (Mysql currently but maybe migrate)
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems (Ubuntu/Debian) and web servers (Apache/Nginx).
• An effortless user of git, issue trackers, CI, and other day-to-day dev tooling
• Thrives in working in small teams with short communication lines
• Proficiency in English
