We are currently expanding our IT Excellence team with this exciting senior role - the successful candidate will join an enthusiastic group of people from different backgrounds who are dedicated to realizing the enormous potential of our hyper automation platform.
As a Digital Innovation Manager, you will capture the latest trends and technologies for digital innovation and assess its value for Nutreco. You will set up and manage strategic and operational roadmaps and be part of the realization with internal Nutreco staff or external consultants. Also run multiple proof of concepts with inspiring business value results for business. In addition, advising the business units to adapt and integrate new trends and technologies in the current way of working. You will be a vital part of Nutreco's Center of Excellence for hyper automation technology and will manage the demand side together with the IT Excellence manager.
Within Nutreco, the Digital Innovation Manager reports hierarchically to the IT Excellence manager and is acting on corporate level. Has a strong functional relationship with the various decentralized business unit management teams and business functional leads to identify hyper automation, (generative) artificial intelligence and blockchain opportunities and translate this into strategic roadmaps. In this role, you partner directly with Business IT Managers for support in POC's and enterprise architects for architectural fit.
What are your key accountabilities
• Deliver input for IT strategy Digital Innovation based on trends and technology (e.g., Artificial Intelligence and Hyper Automation).
• Technology scouting and executing Proof of Concepts
• Initiate and realize Digital Innovation programs together with senior business stakeholders and center of excellence team members
• Assists in making business cases and validates these during the program execution.
• Capture and assess latest digital trend and technologies and its impact for Nutreco
• Ratio ideas of new digital solutions and actual implementation in the business or within IT (measure influence by Digital Innovation Manager
• Acts as knowledge partner directly (or indirectly via start-ups, universities, suppliers) towards business stakeholders and Corporate management on new trends & technologies
• Acts as an entrepreneur and is pro-active in adding new POC's and MVPS's on roadmap by networking and inspiring
• Develop decision tree that explains when (not) to use hyper automation technology, AI, Blockchain and align with application onboarding process, enterprise architects and process information managers.

What you bring
• Bachelor's or Masters Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Innovation Management or a related field
• At least 8 years broad knowledge and experience in a digital transformation role
• Demonstrated knowledge of hyper automation technology; AI, Blockchain
• Relevant experience in the feed industry
• Experienced in project/ program management
• Understanding Agile and DevOps methodology
• Strong analytical skills, change management skills and a good business understanding
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
