ABOUT THE ROLE

Daily at Arrow Distribution Logistics Centre, we ship around 6000 packages and 250 pallets. As Invoice Control Specialist you will be engaged in analysing transportation costs within the transportation department. You will also work as the backup for the transportation team and assist the department where required.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Providing shipping information to customers and to Finance department including:

Obtaining shipping documents, tracking numbers, proof of deliveries, etc.

Communication with carriers, managing routing guide, assisting in shipping requests by processing shipping reports in order to set up and contact carriers for pickup.

Processing minor shipping requests including redirecting freight, changing freight terms, etc.

Checking freight invoices and addressing discrepancies with the carrier.

Managing freight clearing account, charge back invoices to the branch, code and approve invoices.

Resolving issues connected with freight invoices, carrier charge backs, invoices past due, damaged inventory, etc.

Preparing various reports

WHO YOU ARE?

You already have at least 2 years of experience in supply chain/logistics/transport

You are fluent in English, Dutch and German.

You like to work with numbers and data

You are an advanced user of Excel and the other Microsoft Office applications

You are able to learn fast and have an eye for detail
