What are you going to do:

As a platform operator at Dnata, Schiphol, you are the linchpin in the aircraft's logistical process. You ensure that everything runs smoothly, both literally and figuratively. From loading and unloading cargo to creating a safe working environment, you are the professional who ensures that every flight is handled on time and efficiently.

A versatile and challenging job

As a platform operator, you work in a lively environment where no day is the same. You are responsible for flight preparation, placing wheel chocks and cones, assisting in placing the conveyor belt, and operating the necessary G.S.E. Additionally, you handle the loading, unloading, and sorting of baggage, cargo, and mail. You count and report the loaded baggage and tidy up the gates after handling a flight.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are capable of performing physically demanding work and are strong communicators. You have experience in loading and unloading cargo and are familiar with creating a safe working environment. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance efficiency is natural for you. You have a flexible attitude and are willing to work at varying times, including weekends.

Working days and hours

As a platform operator, you work flexibly from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 38 hours per week. Your working hours vary from Monday to Sunday. The daily window is from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00; beyond this, you receive irregularity allowances on top of your hourly wage. You work at the bustling location of Schiphol, where you are part of an energetic and motivated team.
