Wat ga je doen?
The
position of flow controler is part of the Dutch local retained Finance Shared Services organization and reports to the Global Process Owner (GPO) & Team Lead. You act as sparring partner for the GPO. Together with the GPO and the other local
team members (both in Belgium, Netherlands and Finland) you are responsible
for realizing an effective and efficient center of expertise serving the needs
of SBUs as well as Sanoma Corporation.
THE
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- Expert in transactional finance within Purchase to Pay (for Netherlands);
- Responsible for general support of in the PTP process;
- Coordinating PTP related matters with the Service Provider;
- Responsible for supporting,improving and developing the PTP process;
- Implement and support the development of PTP policies and rules;
- Validate that internal controls are implemented and operational;
- Responsible for the PTP close and support intercompany reconciliation;
- Helpdesk role for local PTP issues;
- Testing and handover of new PTP processes with Business Provider;
- Contact person towards offshore PTP team;
- Responsible for the Company Credit Card management.

Wat wij vragen:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar knowledge through experience
- Being able to work independently and individually;
- Proactive approach, taking initiative, taking responsibilities;
- Well documented and proven knowledge of transactional finance, including tax rules;
- Knowledge of the PTP process (and preferably RTR processes);
- Knowledge with finance systems and used within the country;
- Service-minded with good ability to create relations;
- Knowledge of e-invoicing systems & processes;
- Knowledge of expense claims processes;
- Public speaking, able to give training and presentations to broader audience.

GROUP
FINANCE CONTROL:
In the redesigned finance function, Group Finance
Control is a center of expertise (CoE) responsible for the external reporting
process for all Sanoma Group SBUs. This includes acting as a knowledge center
for IFRS, responsible for monthly consolidation in Group consolidation and
reporting system HFM as well as alignment with SBU internal reporting. In
addition Group Finance Control is responsible for tax reporting, preparation of
Dutch and Finnish statutory accounts and actively contributing to the Group’s
quarterly interim reports and annual report. The department also supports
M&A processes as well as technical maintenance of HFM and co-ordination
with ICT department for systems linked to financial processes. The retained
organization for Financial Shared Services (FSS) is an integral part of Group
Finance Control and works closely together with both SBUs and the external
service provider for the outsourced financial administration tasks.
