Your role
As a Part-Time Store Associate at Amsterdam Cheese Company, you will be part of an enthusiastic, international team dedicated to offering visitors a unique cheese experience every day. We are passionate about cheese and enjoy sharing that passion with customers from all over the world. With your welcoming attitude, you ensure that every customer feels valued and leaves the store with a smile.
- Assisting customers with questions about our cheeses and products;
- Advising customers on flavor pairings and helping them discover their favorite cheeses;
- Processing purchases at the cash register;
- Restocking shelves and ensuring products are attractively displayed;
- Keeping the store clean, organized, and presentable.
- With your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset, you will contribute to creating an enjoyable experience for every visitor.
Who Are You?
- You have a positive attitude and naturally radiate enthusiasm;
- You have experience in sales, retail, or hospitality;
- You enjoy advising customers and guiding them in their choices;
- You feel comfortable working in an environment with many international visitors;
- You take initiative and proactively approach customers;
- You enjoy an energetic workday with plenty of customer interaction.
What we offer
- A competitive hourly wage of €14.71 (for employees aged 21 and over) or €11.77 (for employees under 21);

What we ask
- You are hospitable, communicative, and genuinely enjoy delivering excellent customer service;
- You are available to work at least 16 hours per week;
- You speak fluent English (additional languages are a strong advantage);
- You are proactive, hands-on, and work well as part of a team;
- You are available throughout the summer period and do not have extended holiday plans;
- You are looking for a long-term position and are available for at least one year.
