Key tasks & responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential customers across international markets.
  • Proactively build relationships with prospects through outbound activities such as phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine business potential and ensure a strong sales pipeline.
  • Book and coordinate meetings, product demonstrations, and discovery calls for the sales team, acting as the first point of contact for prospective customers.
  • Take ownership of promising leads and, depending on your experience and ambition, progress opportunities further through the sales cycle, gaining exposure beyond a traditional SDR role.
  • Maintain and manage the CRM pipeline, ensuring all customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps are accurately recorded.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and optimize lead generation strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Achieve and exceed activity and performance targets, contributing directly to the company's continued growth.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and the company's innovative product portfolio.
  • As the company's first-ever Sales Development Representative, play a key role in shaping processes, sharing ideas, and helping define how the SDR function will evolve in the future.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is curious, commercially driven, and excited by technology. You do not need to be a sales expert yet; what matters most is your mindset, potential, and willingness to learn.
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree
  • You have affinity with technology and are eager to understand high-tech electronics, sensors, and innovative products.
  • You are entrepreneurial and proactive: you enjoy taking initiative, identifying opportunities, and helping shape something new.
  • You are resilient and confident in outreach, including cold calling, emailing, and approaching new prospects.
  • You have an analytical mindset and are able to research markets, identify relevant companies, and understand where business opportunities may lie.
  • You are accountable and results-driven, taking ownership of your work beyond simply meeting activity targets.
  • You are a strong communicator and a good listener, able to build trust and rapport with potential customers.
  • You are fluent in English; any additional language is a plus.
  • You are ambitious and eager to grow within sales, with the potential to develop towards an Account Executive or Sales Manager role in the future.
  • We are open to both recent graduates with a technical-related educational background who possess the right mindset, as well as candidates with 2–3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in technical sales is a strong advantage, but we place equal value on personality, curiosity, ambition, and growth potential.
Please note that we are only considering candidates who are already based in the Netherlands. We are not considering candidates who still need to relocate from abroad or have an unrealistic long-distance commute to Eindhoven. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
