As a Post Processing Employee, you are responsible for ensuring that the daily mail processing runs efficiently and according to the correct procedures. You monitor the work, identify any issues and help resolve minor machine malfunctions when necessary.

Job description

As a Post Processing Employee in Rotterdam, you will be part of the team responsible for processing large volumes of mail every day. You will mainly work with sorting machines and check whether the mail is being processed correctly.

Your work is varied. One moment you may be processing mail, while the next you are checking whether the machines are operating properly. If you notice that a machine is not working correctly, you take action and resolve minor malfunctions yourself.

Being able to work accurately is important, but you should also be someone who likes to get things done. Together with your colleagues, you make sure the work is completed on time and that the mail flow is not unnecessarily delayed.

Your responsibilities

• Processing incoming and outgoing mail;
• Operating and monitoring sorting equipment;
• Checking whether mail has been processed correctly;
• Identifying and resolving minor machine malfunctions;
• Moving and processing mail items;
• Working together with colleagues during daily operations;
• Contributing to an efficient and safe working environment.
