Are you passionate about electronics, cutting-edge visual displays, and international travel? As a Field Service Engineer in Utrecht, you will be the technical face of an industry-leading brand, serving high-profile clients in retail, transport hubs, and media across the EMEA region. Stationed at the primary service hub in Utrecht, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ultra-high-brightness commercial screens. You will also travel frequently across Europe: commissioning on-site installations, solving critical Tier-2 technical issues, and showcasing technological breakthroughs at top international trade shows.
Key responsebilities
- Deliver high-level technical assistance via phone, email, remote connections, and on-site visits;
- Inspect, diagnose, and perform hardware/component repairs on premium digital display systems;
- Assist customers and system integrators with commissioning, setup, and system integration;
- Execute root-cause analyses and collaborate with engineering teams for continuous hardware improvement;
- Deliver practical product training to distributors, technicians, and partners across EMEA.

Wat wij vragen
- Minimum of an MBO-equivalent level of professional and intellectual ability;
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Customer Support Engineer, or Electronics Repair Technician is a big plus;
- Strong foundation in electronics, AV systems, or digital signage hardware;
- Excellent problem-solving mindset and clear communication skills when dealing with clients;
- Residing within commuting distance of Utrecht and holding a valid driving licence (B);
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally across EMEA;
- Fluency in English (conversational German or French is a major plus).
