What are you going to do:
Do you love diving deep into technical challenges and delivering effective hardware solutions? In your position as Technical Support Specialist Utrecht, you will serve as the crucial link between customers, field teams, and R&D engineers. Operating from the service headquarters in Utrecht, you handle escalations, manage RMA processes, and guarantee maximum uptime for high-performance visual displays.
You blend bench testing with partner engagement: analyzing hardware anomalies, generating technical knowledge-base articles, and occasionally visiting international client sites or exhibitions for hands-on commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Tier-2 technical tickets, warranty cases, and RMAs through the CRM system;
- Perform detailed failure investigations (root-cause analysis) on returned display modules;
- Author and maintain technical instructions, support guides, and procedural documentation;
- Host technical workshops and product onboarding sessions for regional partners;
- Coordinate with product development to resolve firmware and hardware anomalies.

What we ask
- Technical education or equivalent hands-on experience in AV technology, electronics, or mechatronics;
- Practical competence with electronic diagnostics, circuit testing, and system repairs;
- Customer-oriented attitude, well-organized, and comfortable working independently;
- Stationed within commuting distance of Utrecht with a valid category B driving licence;
- Ready and willing to travel abroad within EMEA when customer projects require it;
- Fluent in English; conversational skills in German or French are an advantage.
