The department – Portfolio Measurement & Analysts
The position is placed within the Portfolio Measurement & Analysts team which is a central function within the Financial Markets - Risk Management department. Main contacts on a daily basis are with various parts of the ING organization and risk management worldwide in a dynamic environment to deliver accurate risk measurement ensuring balanced risk and return for ING. The Portfolio Measurement & Analysts team is responsible for monitoring, analysing and advising on Global market risk, Regulatory capital, Economic capital and Performance of the business activities.

About the position – Junior PMA Professional
You will take responsibility for daily monitoring, measuring, managing and advising on the market and risk of the ING Bank trading portfolio, more specifically:

  • Value at Risk (including limits);
  • Event Risk;
  • Sensitivity based analysis;
  • Market Risk Capital;

Besides these tasks you will also participate in projects to improve methodologies, processes and the implementation of new regulation on regulatory and economic capital.

Your Profile


  • You have a Master's Degree in economics or econometrics;
  • You have knowledge of MS Office;
  • You have good English communication skills;
  • You have proven knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments;
  • You have 0 - 2 year relevant work experience;
  • You are flexible;
  • You are a real team player.
