Native Junior Expansion Manager UK in Breda

What are you going to do:

We are YoungOnes! The digital platform that offers a quick and simple way to connect supply and demand for temporary jobs. Having existed for three years now, we are proud to call ourselves a scale-up company. In the meantime, business is booming and we have international aspirations. This is why we are looking for a full time employee for our expansion to the UK. The position of Junior Expansion Manager UK means that you are a true all-rounder and jointly in charge of the successful launch of our platform in the UK. 

What is YoungOnes all about?  
The YoungOnes platform offers an ultimate sense of freedom when it comes to employment. Everyone can decide where, when and for which rates they would like to offer their professional services. Work is executed on a freelance basis, e.g. one-day jobs in restaurants, hospitality, logistics etc. People want to work via the platform and it is our privilege to help them with their first steps towards becoming independent entrepreneurs. And now we are expanding to the UK!

What is the position all about?
We are currently building from scratch in the UK. There is however one major difference from when we started in the Netherlands: we have 3.5 years of experience under our belts. Also, the tools and the platform are technically complete. In the position of Junior Expansion Manager UK, you will launch the platform in the UK with a small team from YoungOnes. You will start working from our office in Breda and eventually partially from London starting Q4 2021. As a true all-rounder you are an expert in account management, communication with freelancers, copywriting and the onboarding of new colleagues. The most important aspect is that you are a native English speaker and writer. Having a network in the UK would be a big advantage.

What will you be doing? 

  • You will be responsible for the onboarding of freelancers via introduction calls. In the beginning you will conduct the introduction calls yourself. After a while you will put together a team, depending on the growth;
  • You are responsible for the communication with freelancers via email and our support desk;
  • You are a word-wizard when it comes to copywriting;
  • You will assist your sales-colleague with the onboarding of new clients;
  • You will assist your sales-colleague with creating convincing sales emails and promotion materials;
  • You will take on administrative tasks to ensure a flawless billing process;
  • You will assist in recruiting new colleagues for the YoungOnes UK team

    And finally: you love to help your colleagues when it comes to the English language. After all, you are our Native!

What we offer:

What we ask:

  • Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability
  • Speaking and writing at Native English level;
  • At least 2 to 3 years of work experience;
  • An affinity with entrepreneurship;
  • Working in Breda and willing to travel to London when required;
  • Access to an UK network would be an advantage;
  • A dynamic, flexible and modern professional;
  • Someone who is inquisitive, takes initiatives and possesses strong communication skills.
