Job description

As a fulltime procurement Associate at Movus in Alblasserdam you are responsible for the entire purchasing process. Operational matters such as relationship management with suppliers and organizing, coordinating and evaluating with shipping agents. In addition, as a procurement associate, you are constantly busy setting up the best negotiation tactics and trends in the sector. As a result, you are the first to know what is going on in the sector and can respond quickly. You work closely together with the purchasing director in order to constantly develop new profitable purchasing strategies. 

Who and what is Movus?

Movus Logistics is a new start-up company in the logistics sector, based in Alblasserdam. From Movus Logistics warehouse, all products are transported and stocked to Getir's hubs. From there, the pickers will take over in the warehouse. The riders will ensure that the orders are delivered to the client in no time. As a full time purchasing Associate at Movus in Alblasserdam you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Who are you?

For this position, it is important that you are a team player with well-developed social and intercultural communication skills. You are also expected to be flexible with changing working hours, stress resistant, a multitasker and decisive. Movus is a new and fast-growing company, so it is important that you have a strong drive to grow with them.

  • A gross monthly salary between €3000,- and €4500,- depending on the knowledge and experience you bring;

What we ask:

  • Minimum mbo level 4 or equivalent ability
  • Work experience in the same industry is a plus;
  • Excellent skill of the English language;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications;
