Vladex BV is a leading wholesaler based in Middelharnis, Netherlands. Since its launch in 2001, the company began by specialising in supplies to the United Nations Missions and Military Bases before expanding into wholesale and provisions for ship suppliers. Vladex B.V. Was acquired by Salvo Grima Group Limited (Malta) in 2015 and, as a result, has since experienced strong signs of growth by venturing into new markets.

We are now looking for a full time Operations Executive to join our International Team. The post is based in the Netherlands.

The Ideal Candidate would be: 

• In possession of a good level of education;
• Computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Office applications;
• Knowledgeable and experienced in warehousing and logistics. Having familiarity with customs systems and procedures would be an asset;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken;
• Able to work individually but also as part of a team;
• Reliable, organised, sharp-minded, has a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills;
• Willing to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines;
• Willing to be flexible and perform other team duties where necessary.

Duties Include: 

• Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and third parties;
• Requesting, negotiating and confirming freight;
• Co-ordinating with third party service providers;
• Liaising with customs & authorities as required from time to time;
• Preparing CMRs and documentation related to shipping;
• General co-ordination of operations, to ensure smooth daily running;
• Perform office duties and provide general administrative support;
• Reporting accurately and clearly on activities undertaken;
• Carrying out any other task which may be reasonably required in this position.
