As the Hostel Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the hostel. Your responsibilities will include:

• Guest Relations: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed promptly.
• Staff Management: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff members. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Operations: Oversee the overall functioning of the hostel, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and housekeeping.
• Marketing and Promotion: develop and implement strategies to attract new guests and enhance the hostel's online presence.
• Budget Management: Monitor and manage the hostel's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maintaining financial sustainability.
• Events and Activities: Organize and promote social events and activities to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for guests.
• Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure the hostel's facilities are well-maintained and in excellent condition.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or hostel management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Dutch speaking/reading/writing preferred
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creative mindset with a knack for organizing engaging events and activities.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• A passion for travel and connecting with people from different cultures.
