What are you going to do:

Harvey Nash in the Netherlands is a key part of the global Harvey Nash Group, specializing in providing recruitment services for technology, finance, and digital talent across various sectors. This interim role ensures accurate financial reporting and planning by analizing financial data, forecasting financial performances, developing budgets, managing financial risks, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making. Additionally, this is a position for 6 months, with the option for extension.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly financial bookings, reconcile general ledge accounts, manage intercompany balances, authorize payments, and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Prepare commercial financial overviews and management reproting packs, including analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare VAT tax returns, assist with corporate income tax fillings, and support audits.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning, provide tender and business case calculations, and assist with new customer implementations from a finance perspective.

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver with excellent analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and a strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and auditing. Furthermore, you are able to adapt to changing priorities, collaborate across teams, and demonstrate leadership while being a team player.

What we offer:

  • A monthly wage between €3500,- and €5500,-;

What we ask:

  • Minimum hbo level or equivalent ability ; Minimal HBO in Finance, Controlling and/or Accounting or something relatable;
  • Minimum experience of 5 years;
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, tax compliance and auditing processes;
  • Fluent in English.
