Are you an experienced Blueriq Engineer who enjoys modernising applications and building future-ready digital solutions? What will you be doing?

As a Blueriq Engineer, you will become part of a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for supporting and modernising customer-facing applications within the Savings & Investments domain.

You will contribute to a major IT transformation programme focused on simplifying the IT landscape, reducing legacy dependencies and creating scalable solutions that support both customers and internal stakeholders. Working closely with engineers, analysts and product owners, you will help deliver high-quality solutions that drive the organisation forward.

Your responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain changes within Blueriq-based applications;
• Enable frontend applications to consume new APIs as part of the migration away from legacy technology;
• Collaborate with backend engineers, analysts and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Improve application quality, reliability and maintainability through testing, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Support the simplification and standardisation of the IT landscape;
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders;
• Help ensure the delivery of robust, scalable and customer-focused solutions.

Where will you be working?

You will join one of the Netherlands' leading financial services organisations, within the Savings & Investments domain. The team is currently working on a strategic IT Simplification programme aimed at reducing complexity and modernising the technology landscape.

You will be part of an international engineering community, working alongside experienced software engineers located in both the Netherlands and Spain. Due to the nature of the centralised solutions being developed, you will collaborate regularly with architects, engineers, product owners and stakeholders across multiple departments.

English is the primary language used within the technology teams, making this a truly international working environment.

What do you bring?

• At least 2 years of experience working with Blueriq;
• Experience implementing changes in frontend or customer-facing applications;
• Experience integrating applications with APIs;
• Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, code quality and maintainability;
• Experience working in an Agile environment with close collaboration between business and IT teams;
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
