  • 2019

    ISO 9001:2015 certificate obtained. Launch of the new brand name YoungCapital NEXT — with which the names YoungCapital Academy and YoungCapital Professionals are dropped. Number 777 in the third annual list of Europe's fastest-growing companies by the Financial Times (the FT 1000). Number 5 in the 2019 list of the Top 250 Growth Companies in the Netherlands. Tenth place in the Flexmarkt ranking of the Top 100 companies with the largest turnover. Named by Deloitte as a Best Managed Company for the eighth time. Number 32 on the MT500 list of companies with the best reputation in the Netherlands.

  • 2018

    Awarded quality certificate for Best Employer (Beste Werkgever) 2017-2018. Declared a Best Managed Company for the seventh time. Winner of the 2018 HR Proffie for our ‘happy, healthy & connected’ HR policy. Acquisition of Jobbird, our 23rd job board. Received the award for ‘Innovative use of technology’ for a large agency at the Bullseye Awards in London for our successful integration of new technology in the recruitment landscape. Launch of the mobile onboarding program for employees and candidates, called Job. Launch of YoungCapital Academy, the higher professional education (HBO) programme for software development.

    YoungCapital is named Best Managed Company for the sixth year in a row. As a newcomer in 32nd place, it is included in the MT500 list of the 500 best companies in the Netherlands. Winner of SAN accent award for 'WORK' campaign in the services category. Named the fastest growing recruitment agency in the Netherlands.

  • 2016

    Winner of the 2016 award for the best advertising music. Elbrich Batstra named HR Director of the Year. Madelon Blokker wins the title Recruitment Talent of the Year. Eline Lolkema wins silver for Agency Recruiter of the Year. Winner of the Public Champion of the Netherlands Award and named by the professional jury as a Ruban d'Honneur finalist at the European Business Awards. Opening of the first two branches of YoungCapital Deutschland in Cologne and Berlin.

  • 2015

    YoungCapital is fully brought under the name of its parent company YoungCapital. This year, we also make our first appearance in a marketing campaign on TV. YoungCapital is crowned the New Champion of the Netherlands by the Dutch newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad and voted National Public Champion of the Netherlands in the European Business Awards. Awarded the no. 2 spot in the list of the most innovative companies in the Netherlands at the Erasmus Innovation Award. Senior recruiter Alana Soares wins second place in the Intermediary of the Year Award selection.

  • 2014

    YoungCapital launched as a holding of StudentenWerk, StudentJob International, YoungCapital and YoungCapital Professionals. Awarded Flex Specialist of the Year for the third time, winner of a High Growth Award and nominee for the Erasmus Innovation Award. Senior recruiter Jorrit Gall named Intermediary of the Year 2014.

    Ineke Kooistra starts as managing director of StudentenWerk. Second-time winner of Flex Specialist of the Year and named Best Managed Company for the third time. Rogier Thewessen receives the LOEY Award.

  • 2012

    Winner of Flex Specialist of the Year and named Best Managed Company for the second time. Opening of YoungCapital branches in Zwolle, Haarlem and Almere. Founding of student health insurance company Besured. YoungCapital database reaches 1 million candidates..

  • 2011

    Launch of StudentJob USA. Opening of YoungCapital Enschede branch office and second branch office in Amsterdam. Named by Deloitte Netherlands as ‘Best Managed Company 2011’.

  • 2010

    Launch of StudentJob UK, StudentJob Austria and Opening of the first government office for the central government in The Hague. Opening of Breda branch office. Launch of the YoungCapital blog. Nomination for Ernst & Young 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year.

  • 2009

    Opening of the first office in Belgium in Antwerp and launch of the Belgian site Launch of websites in France and Spain. Opening of the YoungCapital office at the Eindhoven University of Technology. National winner of the High Growth Award 2009 and nominated for the Gazellen Award from the Dutch newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad. The number of registered candidates in the database exceeds 500,000.

  • 2008

    Opening of StudentenWerk offices in Leiden, Alkmaar, Amersfoort, Leeuwarden, Den Bosch and Maastricht. Launch of the first foreign StudentenWerk site with the name

    Opening of StudentenWerk offices in The Hague, Amsterdam, Tilburg and establishment of StudenDBase B.V. and Peoples Media B.V.

  • 2006

    Opening of StudentenWerk offices in Rotterdam, Arnhem, Groningen and acquisition of ICT company Noxa B.V.

  • 2005

    Opening of the StudentenWerk branch in Utrecht and establishment of CN IT detachering

  • 2004

    Establishment and launch of CareerNetwork werving en selectie.

  • 2003

    Opening of the StudentenWerk office in Eindhoven and establishment of CareerNetwork Payroll B.V.

  • 2002

    First employee on the payroll.

  • 2001

    Establishment of the first office in Hoofddorp. The first 10,000 candidates are registered in the database.

  • 2000

    Registration domain and launch of the first StudentenWerk site.
