What you will do?
The Team Leader Inside Sales at this dynamic organisation contributes to the realisation of the commercial auction targets through the support of our sales & marketing divisions of Catawiki. You will manage an international sales team consisting of Account Managers from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. The Inside Sales team is mainly responsible for generating new business opportunities and will be interacting with current and new prospective customers. The team will keep in touch with (potential) auction sellers through email or phone, and they will be responsible for maintaining and improving our list of clients.
You are responsible for closely monitoring our sales KPI’s and achieving our team goals while giving our agents all the support they need. You are able to analyse the current work processes and are able to implement improvements to optimize the overall sales results.
You detect market developments, and are able to quickly and effectively adapt to notable changes. With your skills, you’ll become an indispensable addition to the organisation, with the opportunity to secure your bonus.
You'll report directly to the Sales Director of Catawiki. Please note that you'll be working at our Dutch office in Amsterdam.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Train, motivate, guide and coach Inside Sales Account Managers;
- Achieve and surpass quarterly targets and goals, for the team as well as for the individual Inside Sales Account Managers;
- Monitoring and reporting on KPI’s;
- Conduct team meetings to increase individual and team success;
- Monitor CRM and telephone reporting system to validate ongoing performance;
- Work with the Customer Support and Marketing departments to refine and improve the ongoing team success;
- Review weekly forecast with sales management;
- Do job interviews, bilateral meetings and performance appraisals with the Inside Sales Account Managers;
- Weekly meetings and (frequently) stand-ups with the team;
- Implement improvements to optimize the customer satisfaction and professionalize the work processes of the department.
You are:
- Bachelor's degree in the commercial, marketing, business or communications field;
- Minimum of five years professional experience in (tele)sales;
- Minimum of two years proven success managing (international) Inside Sales Account Managers;
- Knowledge of automated sales software (for example Salesforce);
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (French, German, Italian or Spanish) is required, knowledge of Dutch is an advantage;
- Preferably have experience with working for an online platform;
- Excellent facilitation skills - able to build and motivate the team, generate creativity and challenge effectively;
- Able to quickly establish credibility and report the results to the management team.
