What are you going to do?
As a Technical Poultry specialist, you will primarily be responsible for practical on-farm poultry (broiler/layer/breeder/hatchery/etc.) related consulting in MEA (Middle East & (North) Africa) region.
You will be the technical extension of our sales force. This means to spot and relate to farm challenges and convert this opportunity into promoting TN solutions (products/services).

In this position you will report to the Livestock Program Manager based in the Netherlands, Boxmeer.
Your responsibilities
• You will be mainly visiting poultry farms within Middle East and (Northern) Africa.
• Must be able to define current poultry or farm related issues, problems and opportunities.
• Interpret on-farm challenges based on symptoms and field data, offering technical guidance on Trouw Nutrition's solutions.
• Provide visit reports/journals.
• Acting as a team, you will participate in various sales and customer service-related projects in the MEA area, contributing to project results.
• Share information and cooperate with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals.
• Facilitate trainings/seminars both internal and external by sharing best practices of poultry farm management (water-feed-housing) related topics and referring to our product portfolio.
• Understand customer priorities, goals and challenges to offer solutions addressing customer needs and contribute to business growth.
• Bringing innovative approaches to develop new solutions or services that enhance poultry production and efficiency.
• Collaborating closely with technical teams, sales teams, marketing teams and other relevant staff to ensure a coordinated and effective response to customer needs and contribute to business growth.

What you bring
• At least 3 years of practical (daily) experience in on-farm poultry businesses, able to identify spot on farm related challenges during a field visit.
• Practical person, high attention to detail and accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field, specializing in poultry domain. We will consider experience and education combination.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English is required and Arabic/French would be an advantage.
• Ability to travel up to 40% to customers in geographical focus area Middle East + (North) Africa territory.
• Being comfortable to talk in front of a group or in a 1-1 session with a farmer.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational skills. Superior customer focus and ability to follow-up skills.
• High level of integrity, respect and work ethic as we work with a variety of cultures throughout middle east and Africa.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative. Ability to work independently and to collaborate with sales teams.
